We strive to foster meaningful connections between horses and humans, create a supportive learning environment, and build a strong community grounded in faith, family values, and a shared love for horsemanship.

Our mission is to provide exceptional horse care, riding lessons, and training services with professionalism, patience, and purpose. We aim to nurture growth in both horses and riders, promote responsible horsemanship, and serve families through faith-driven values. At Standing Oak Stables, every ride begins with heart, and every guest feels at home.

About Standing Oak Stables

Standing Oak Stables is owned and operated by the Evetts Family. We have been in business since July of 2021. What started out as a business to board horses soon expanded to offering riding lessons for all ages. Our boarding business includes different breeds of horses such as Gaited, Thoroughbreds and American Quarter Horse.

Standing Oak Stables is located on 30 acres in Prentiss County, MS with a 24 stall bar, outdoor riding arena, and two round pens. Each year we host riding camps for children and youth in March and June.

Our goal at Standing Oak Stables is to provide a family friendly atmosphere for those interested in learning about horses and horsemanship. Without apology, we seek to put Christ first in our personal lives and in our business. In addition to our boarding and riding lessons, we are in the process of raising our own stock of American Quarter Horse breed.
